Make a butter dish: taster session in hand-building
£45
This pottery workshop for beginners is a fun short introduction to hand-building for anyone new to ceramics.
Over two and a half hours you will be shown how to roll clay slabs, how to imprint these with patterns using stamps and rollers, and how to cut them with templates and join them to make a butter dish with a lid. You'll have a choice of designs and there is plenty of scope for you to personalise your butter dish.
We will fire and glaze your butter dish for you. You will be able to collect your finished work four to six weeks after your course.
All of the pottery classes and workshops at Zed Alley Clayhouse are run by professional potters in our central Bristol studios.
