Nicholas is a Bristol-based potter making wheel-thrown functional pots in earthenware, porcelain and stoneware. He has a keen interest in forms, glazes and approaches originating from Japan.   

Nicholas doesn’t adhere strictly to any particular tradition although his work also shows strong influences from British and Scandinavian aesthetics, with an emphasis on character and ergonomics.
