Masterclass: making and using slip transfers with Wendy Calder

£55

Wendy will demonstrate some of the techniques she has developed in making and using slip transfers, and then you’ll be able to try these out on your own work. All the decorative materials and equipment you will need will be provided, including a range of coloured slips.

You will need to bring two or three pieces of leather hard work with you to decorate.

If you would like us to fire and glaze your decorated pieces, provided you are using stoneware clay suitable for firing to cone 8/9, we can do this for you. We charge £5 per kilo for firing (up to 22cm tall), plus £5 per item for glazing in transparent gloss. For items taller than 22cm, or glazes other than transparent gloss, additional charges apply.
