Make a candle holder: taster session in hand-building
£48
This is a fun short pottery workshop where you will experience an introduction to hand-building. Perfect for beginners and anyone new to ceramics.
Over two and a half hours you will be shown how to roll clay slabs, how to imprint these with patterns using stamps and rollers, and how to shape them into a holder for a candle. You'll have a choice of shapes and styles and there is plenty of scope for you to personalise your piece.
We will fire and glaze your candle holder for you. You will be able to collect your finished work four to six weeks after your course.
Our fun, informative pottery workshops all take place at our beautiful, light and airy studios in our listed building in the heart of Bristol's Arts Quarter where we are surrounded by vibrant and thriving independent creative businesses like ours.
